Jeri Williams

Jeri Williams

(Physiotherapist, BPE, MScPT, CAFCI)

Jeri graduated from the University of Alberta with her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2010. She also has a Bachelors of Physical Education from the University of Alberta. Jeri has worked in private practice since 2010; she enjoys helping people achieve their goals and return to the activities that drive them. Jeri is continuing to pursue post graduate education to advance her knowledge as a physical therapist and continue to stay up to date with current research. She uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise, acupuncture, laser and Regenerative Photonic Therapy to assist in her client’s recovery.

Jeri has specific training in treating women who are experiencing incontinence or bladder leakage. Jeri takes a global approach to the management of treating pelvic floor dysfunction in a wide range of the female population whether they are athletes, new moms or seniors. She incorporates her orthopaedic skills with her pelvic floor training to treat the client as a whole.

Jeri joined Global Physiotherapy in the fall of 2016. She currently works three evenings per week.

  • Red Deer College, Kinesiology Adapted Physical Education Diploma 2006
  • Authorized with the Alberta Physiotherapy College to perform Pelvic Health Internal Examinations
  • Blood Flow Restriction Therapy Level 1 certified
  • Level 3 upper quadrant course completed and exam passed
  • Level 2 lower quadrant course completed and exam passed

  • Registered with Physiotherapy Alberta College and Association
  • Member Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopaedic and Women’s Health divisions
