Poonam Patel has over 10 years of experience. The last four years have been in Canada. She is offering her services as a Junior Physiotherapist on our team. Poonam receives regular training and mentoring from Cindy Coneen on all of Global Physiotherapy’s advanced treatments.
Poonam’s most recent orthopaedic physiotherapy experience was a contract position for the Canadian Armed Forces finishing in September 2024.
Poonam worked in a private practice in Whitecourt, AB, from October 2020 to February 2024. In November 2021, she completed the Canadian Physiotherapy Qualifications practical and written license exams. She is a registered Physiotherapist in Alberta.
Poonam graduated from Gujarat University, India with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2013. Her clinical experience was cardiac rehabilitation for four years in India before moving to Canada.
Poonam is a committed, caring, and friendly physiotherapist passionate about helping people of all ages. She uses manual therapy, advanced laser protocols, shockwave therapy, acupuncture, and vestibular rehabilitation to assist her patients with their recovery.
